Your Role
As the guardian of this renowned safari experience, you will lead with vision, passion, and precision, ensuring every guest moment reflects the soul of the bush and the spirit of true hospitality.
- Guest Experience: Be the face and host of the lodge, personally welcoming guests, anticipating needs, and ensuring every stay feels personal, seamless, and unforgettable.
- Operations Leadership: Direct and coordinate all lodge departments, including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, spa, and guiding – maintaining uncompromising quality and attention to detail.
- People & Culture: Mentor and inspire your team, cultivating professionalism, positivity, and shared purpose in every department.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, procurement, and inventory with accountability and efficiency.
- Conservation & Community: Uphold our sustainability commitments and lead meaningful conservation and community initiatives within the reserve.
- Health & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards, maintaining readiness and resilience across all operations.
What You Bring
- Minimum 5 years of senior lodge or hospitality management experience within a luxury safari environment.
- Proven leadership that blends operational excellence with hands-on hosting.
- Deep understanding of safari logistics, guest safety, and luxury-level service delivery.
- Solid grasp of compliance, financial control, and environmental best practice.
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills; calm, adaptable, and solutions-driven.
- Passion for wilderness, conservation, and authentic guest connection.
- Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in hospitality, tourism, or management.
