Job Description

Territory Manager (Building & Construction) A leading company within the building and construction solutions sector has a position available for a Territory Manager. The successful candidate will manage and grow a defined territory by achieving revenue and gross profit targets across hardware, software, and related services within the building and construction sector. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities while expanding and strengthening existing customer relationships. Essential Requirements • Degree / Diploma in Business Management, Sales & Marketing or a related field • 2–5 years B2B technical sales experience within the building materials, construction, or manufacturing software sectors • Proven business development experience working with architects, contractors, and property developers in the building industry • Understanding of construction processes, truss plant workflows, and bill of materials (BOM) conversations • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and solution-selling skills • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory • Strong CRM discipline and proficiency in MS Office Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a territory sales plan balancing new business development (hunting) and account management (farming), maintaining 3–4x pipeline coverage • Identify and develop new business opportunities with architects, contractors, and property developers within the building industry • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including preparing quotations within approved pricing parameters and coordinating internal design or estimating inputs • Drive cross-selling opportunities across hardware, software, and related services • Maintain accurate weekly forecasts, ensure CRM data integrity, and develop structured account plans • Monitor and report market intelligence, including competitor activity, pricing trends, and customer requirements • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term retention and account growth Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Achievement of revenue and gross profit targets within the territory • Pipeline coverage, opportunity progression, and win rate • Forecast accuracy within ±15% on a monthly basis • Product mix penetration and software/service adoption rates • Customer retention and revenue growth within the assigned portfolio Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
