Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems utilizing Phoenix Contact hardware and software platforms.
- Lead project lifecycle activities including requirements gathering, system design, programming, testing, commissioning, and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers.
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot systems, and provide technical support both remotely and on-site.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and client specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, with a strong emphasis on Phoenix Contact systems (e.g., PLCs, HMI, I/O systems, and software such as PC WORX / PLCnext).
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale automation projects in manufacturing, energy, or process industries.
- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFINET, Modbus, EtherCAT).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interactions.
