About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join our team at KETHELO GROUP in Nelspruit. As a General Worker, you will be responsible for supporting our skilled tradespeople and contributing to the smooth operation of our mining facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespeople (electricians, builders, plumbers) by preparing sites, holding materials, and cleaning up work areas.
- Using basic tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) under supervision, ensuring they are clean and properly functioning.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment, and reporting any hazards or broken equipment.
- Assisting with inventory management.
- Reporting work completion to supervisors.
- Performing daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and removing waste.
- Performing general upkeep like painting and repairs.
- Loading and unloading supplies and equipment, moving materials within a facility, and organizing, storing, or stocking items.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Basic tool operation skills (training provided if necessary).
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
