About the Role
The Stock Controller role is a critical position in our Logistics department, responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient management of our storeroom. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent stock management skills, and solid IT proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels through receiving, issuing, tracking, and monitoring stock levels
- Organise the storeroom efficiently to ensure smooth operations
- Utilise stock systems, spreadsheets, and general computer literacy to perform tasks effectively
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director
Requirements
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent stock management skills
- Solid IT proficiency
- Experience in web development (advantageous for system integration or online stock platforms)
- Automotive industry experience (highly beneficial)
- Own reliable vehicle and valid drivers license
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
