About the Role
Aleon Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Assistant to join our team in Nelspruit. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for providing mechanical and physical support to ensure the efficient servicing and repairing of TATA vehicles. With your expertise and attitude towards the brand and product, you will contribute to customer satisfaction and foster the image of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient servicing and repairing of TATA vehicles
- Ensure that customers’ vehicles are well cared for while in the workshop
- Ensure total customer satisfaction
- Effective self-management and performance ownership
- Ensure work space is clean and tidy at all times
- Prepare the operating equipment and bring necessary parts to the workshop bay
Requirements
- 3-5 years active experience as a Workshop Assistant or similar role in the commercial vehicle segment
- Experience and knowledge of Cummins and advanced electronic systems
- Strong ability with electrical systems for diagnosing and repairing
- Knowledge of Air brakes, suspensions, diesel engines, transmissions, and other related mechanical systems for commercial vehicles are vital
- Able to operate independently and within a team framework
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Commercial Vehicle Workshop Experience
- Valid Drivers license
