Job Summary

Porter Driver Stellenbosch | On-Site (Monthly Paid) This highly acclaimed Hotel prides itself on being a respected & progressive employer brand, celebrated for our investment in employee wellness, the broader community & the environment. We are looking to recruit a Porter Driver who is responsible for providing the highest level of hospitality and guest experience and exceeding guest exceptions by providing them with an outstanding first and last impression. As a Porter Driver, you will work in the Front Office department. Your responsibilities include offloading and transferring all guest luggage to the appropriate rooms upon arrival, helping guests with their bags upon departure, room drops, ensuring guest vehicles are parked and retrieved safely, always providing the highest level of guest service, and additional requests and duties not limited to the above.

Requirements:

– Matric – A valid drivers license is essential – Minimum three years experience in driving – Previous relevant upmarket experience in a 4/5 hotel or equivalent environment – Minimum one-year hotel experience – Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays (hospitality hours) – Willing to help in various departments where needed Competencies: – Planning and Initiative – Client and Service-oriented focus – Situational awareness – Time management and Flexibility – Adaptability and Reliable – Drive for Results – Hardworking and a team player – Friendly and approachable personality – Able to do manual lifting of heavy objects – Excellent verbal and written communication skills – Neat and professional appearance – Build & Maintain Working Relationships – Product knowledge of hotel and Stellenbosch region We offer: – An empowering environment. – A remuneration package including risk benefits – 21 working days leave per annum – Other company benefits – Training and development opportunities Please apply by no later than the close of business on 17 September 2024 All internal applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
