Employer Description 5-star Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve Job Description A 5-star lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve is seeking a passionate and ethical Trails Guide to join their team. This is a live-in role suited to a reliable, presentable individual with a deep love for nature and guiding. Key Responsibilities: Conduct guided walks and game drives with professionalism and safety Deliver engaging, informative experiences for international guests Monitor and report on wildlife sightings and lodge surroundings Assist with lodge maintenance when guiding duties are light Uphold ethical guiding standards and conservation principles Qualifications FGASA Level 2 / NQF 4 Lead Trails Guide qualification (essential) Valid PDP and First Aid certification DEAT registration for North West Province Minimum 5 years experience in a luxury lodge environment Fluent English; confident hosting international guests Own vehicle Skills Confident in trails, tracking and wildlife behavior Strong guest communication and hosting Calm under pressure; safety-focused Basic maintenance ability Ethical, reliable and team-oriented Benefits Live-in Accommodation NB : No partners, children or pets permitted on site. Meals and uniform provided Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off Annual leave: 21 days (taken at mutually agreed times) Medical Aid: Fully covered by employer after 3 months Provident Fund: 5% employer 5% employee contribution after 3 months
