About the Role

Hewitt Colenbrander Recruitment is seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team in the Northern Cape region. The successful candidate will provide technical support and advice on crop protection products, as well as build long-term relationships with distributors and growers.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-field support, demos, and feedback on crop protection products.
• Advise on regional agronomy, integrated solutions, and emerging crop challenges.
• Influence product uptake through credibility and knowledge sharing.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with distributor agents and growers.
• Foster collaboration through field days, joint visits, and technical training.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in agricultural crop protection industry.

Qualifications

No formal education or certifications are required for this role. However, a relevant degree or diploma in Agronomy, Crop Protection, or a related field is an asset.
