Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Midweight Shopify Developer to enhance and support their e-commerce experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing responsive, accessible front-end features aligned with brand standards and will play a key role in daily website maintenance, content updates, and campaign support. Responsibilities Build, update, and maintain Shopify 2.0 themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid Translate design files into responsive, accessible Shopify sections and templates Upload and update homepage banners, promotional graphics, and content sections Integrate and style third-party Shopify apps and develop light custom features Configure and manage dynamic metafields and schema for flexible content control Ensure performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility Collaborate with designers and digital teams to support product launches and seasonal campaigns Use Git/GitHub version control and maintain clean, scalable code Debug and QA front-end issues, including layout, responsiveness, and app integration Support the implementation of CRO testing tools through front-end code changes Key Skills 24 years of hands-on Shopify experience with multiple theme builds or customisations Strong front-end development skills: HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript Familiarity with Liquid or eagerness to learn it Experience with Shopify admin, metafields, schema-driven sections, and app integrations Solid QA and debugging skills across browsers and devices Basic version control proficiency (Git) Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams Awareness of SEO-friendly practices in front-end development Willingness to assist with content and banner updates as needed Qualifications Experience with front-end CRO tools, analytics tag setup, and CRM/email tools is advantageous Exposure to API integrations to enhance Shopify functionality is a plus
