Management Couple High-End Lodge | Lower Zambezi Location: Lower Zambezi Property Type: High-End Lodge Salary: Negotiable DOE | Live-In Job Purpose: The Management Couple will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple high-end lodge properties in the Lower Zambezi, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high operational standards, and effective team performance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Multi-Property Oversight Lead operations across multiple lodges, ensuring consistent service excellence and operational efficiency. Translate company vision and strategy into actionable regional plans. Provide clear leadership, mentorship, and oversight to Camp Managers and departmental heads. Foster cohesive teamwork and alignment across all sites. Guest Experience & Brand Standards Champion the guest experience, ensuring every stay is personalised and exceptional. Maintain a visible and engaging presence with guests, personally hosting and supporting team interactions. Address guest feedback and concerns promptly and effectively. Drive innovation in guest activities and experiences reflecting the unique location. Operational Excellence & Logistics Oversee daily lodge operations in accordance with standards and SOPs. Coordinate logistics, procurement, and supply chain management for seamless operations. Ensure maintenance schedules, transportation, and communication systems function efficiently. Team Leadership & Development Build and nurture a high-performing, motivated, and cohesive team culture. Identify and develop emerging talent, providing coaching, feedback, and training. Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and empowerment. Financial & Administrative Management Manage regional budgets, cost controls, and financial reporting with accountability. Oversee inventory, procurement, and payroll processes ensuring compliance. Collaborate with the finance team for accurate and timely reporting. Asset Management & Maintenance Ensure care, maintenance, and longevity of infrastructure, vehicles, and systems. Oversee capital expenditure projects and long-term maintenance planning. Maintain compliance with safety, technical, and environmental standards. Health; Safety & Compliance Enforce all safety, health, and legal compliance standards. Oversee emergency preparedness procedures and staff training. Maintain internal audit standards and operational risk management practices. Sustainability & Community Engagement Champion sustainability commitments and environmental practices. Support community engagement initiatives and foster positive stakeholder relationships. Promote awareness of organisational foundation initiatives among guests and staff. Experience and Qualifications: Minimum 5 years senior management experience in a camp or lodge management role, ideally with multi-property operations in remote locations. Proven track record in team leadership, operational management, and guest relations. Financial acumen with experience in budget management and reporting. Strong logistical and organisational skills suitable for remote operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Genuine passion for nature, people, and delivering meaningful guest experiences.
