About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to join our reputable clients team in Overberg. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounting processes
Prepare financial reports
Ensure compliance with tax legislation
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. CaseWare, Xero, Sage, Pastel)
Strong working knowledge of SARS systems (eFiling, EasyFile)
Solid understanding of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation
Knowledge and practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

SAIPA or equivalent professional qualification
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. CaseWare, Xero, Sage, Pastel)
Strong working knowledge of SARS systems (eFiling, EasyFile)
Solid understanding of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax legislation
Knowledge and practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
3 years of relevant accounting experience

Qualifications

SAIPA or equivalent professional qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
Matric certificate

Salary & Benefits
