Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently.Process payments accurately and handle guest accounts.Provide detailed information about the guest house facilities, services, and local amenities.Assist guests with inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.Handle incoming calls and correspondence.Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.Uphold the highest standards of hospitality and customer service.Overseeing housekeeping.Requirements:Residency: Must reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town (e.g., Plattekloof, Bellville, Durbanville, Parow, Goodwood, etc.).Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a receptionist, specifically within the hospitality industry (e.g., hotels, guest houses, lodges).Skills: oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.oStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.oProficiency in reservation software (NightsBridge) and Microsoft Office Suite.oA professional and polished appearance with a friendly and approachable demeanor.oAbility to work independently and as part of a team.oProblem-solving skills and a calm approach under pressure.oFluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
