Job Summary:
Hire Resolve’s Client is seeking to hire a Assistant Audit Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing audit engagements, client relationships, and staff performance within a leading national audit firm. This role offers exposure to a wide range of industries and the opportunity to grow within a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfil a senior management role in the audit department
- Manage a portfolio of audit and accounting clients from start to finish
- Plan, execute, and finalize external audits
- Supervise and lead audit teams throughout engagements
- Review audit and accounting files
- Finalize audits for partner review
- Oversee various tax matters on behalf of clients
- Effectively liaise and communicate with clients
- Assess staff performance and support their professional development
Minimum Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- CA(SA) designation
- Completion of SAICA articles at a South African audit firm
- 2 to 4 years post-articles experience in auditing
- Proficient in Caseware and Pastel
- Valid South African drivers license
- Own reliable transport

- Excellent computer literacy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates initiative and innovation under pressure
- Deadline-oriented with effective time management skills
