About the Role
An established professional services firm in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Assistant Audit Manager to join their team. This role requires strong technical auditing knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage client engagements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client engagements
- Conduct audits using IFRS, ISA, and relevant legislation
- Lead meetings with clients and internal teams
- Supervise junior staff members
Requirements
- Relevant Accounting/Auditing qualification (e.g., CA(SA), or equivalent)
- Minimum of 35 years experience in external audit, with supervisory or assistant manager-level exposure
