Job Description

Location: Pietermaritzburg We are currently recruiting for a dynamic Internal IT Sales Representative to join a well-established company within the IT industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, managing enquiries, and ensuring customers receive world-class service from first contact to final delivery. If you’re passionate about technology, have a sharp eye for detail, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving — I’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Develop a solid understanding of our products and services to confidently communicate their value to customers. Manage and process quotes, orders, and all sales-related enquiries via phone, email, and walk-in customers. Source and confirm pricing and product availability from suppliers. Analyse and interpret customer enquiries to ensure accurate product selection and technical specification. Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships. Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers to build lasting partnerships. Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline updates. Assist with filing and general administrative support within the sales department. Perform other reasonable duties related to the role. Requirements: Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role within the IT industry . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written). Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with great attention to detail. Eagerness to learn and grow within the company. Matric certificate Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills. Own transport and valid driver’s license. Added Advantages: IT technical background or qualification. Previous sales experience.
