Job Description
- Liaising with clients both telephonically and across the counter
- Attend and respond to client queries via the incoming e-platforms
- Daily cold calling – updating of customer database
- Preparing verbal and written quotes.
- Follow-up and conclude all open orders and open quotations
- Book delegates for training, ensure invoice and payment is done. Handover certificates to successful delegates
- Voluntarily assist trade shows and exhibitions
- Ensure demo room is tidy and stocked with marketing material on a daily basis
- Encourage prospective clients to register onto SAP, collect forms in return
- Entering orders into the system
- Liaising with Stores to ensure that orders are prepare timeously
- Provide clients and external sales team with sales support and marketing information on all our products
- Update daily reports
- Give product presentations to individual clients in our demonstration-area
- Provide basic technical support for the product and provide alternative advise further
- Assist Sales Administrator with up to date client profile information
- It’s also imperative to attend our daily MBU meetings to iron out issues received the previous day.
General
- Assist External Sales on occasional client visits.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties, such as product launches, client functions, open days, stock take
- Manage optimal relationships with the client base, ensuring that the needs of the client come first
- Ensure that client queries are handled accurately and professionally.
- Communicate with production on special orders i.e. availability & eta’s
