Job Summary

Upmarket Guest House in the Plettenberg Bay Region is requiring a General Manager.Job Scope:1. Operations managementOversee all of the propertys operations, including rooms division, food and beverage outlet, recreation facilities, housekeeping, maintenance, and security, to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.2. Financial managementDevelop and manage the propertys budget, forecasting revenue and expenses, analyzing financial performance, and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize profitability and achieve financial targets.3. Guest relationsCultivate positive relationships with guests, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance their stay and satisfaction.4. Staff training and developmentRecruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high service standards and a positive work culture.5. Quality controlMaintain high standards of product and service quality, conducting regular inspections, and implementing procedures to ensure consistency and excellence throughout the hotel.Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 Years management experience within a hospitality environment</li><li>Previous F&B Management experience preferred</li><li>Hospitality Management Diploma</li><li>Matric Grade 12</li><li>Own Vehicle & Valid driver license</li><li>Excellent costing and reporting skills</li></ul>
