Accommodation: Not Provided Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a refined and highly organised Rooms Division Manager to join an elegant boutique hotel located in the heart of Plettenberg Bay. This role is integral in ensuring the seamless coordination of Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Experience, and Reservations ; delivering consistently elevated guest service and operational excellence. We are searching for a candidate who is detail-driven; proactive, confident in leadership ; and fully committed to maintaining a polished, warm, and guest-centric environment. Key Responsibilities: Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Guest Services operations Ensure all room standards, cleanliness, and presentation are maintained to 4-star excellence Lead; develop, and motivate departmental staff to ensure consistent performance and service delivery Monitor guest satisfaction and manage guest feedback, recoveries, and VIP hosting Work closely with GM and department heads to uphold hotel standards and service culture Manage inventory, room allocation, forecasting, and occupancy planning Ensure effective cost controls, labour planning, and operational budgeting Drive a guest-first environment that is welcoming, professional, and personalised Requirements: Minimum 35 years management experience within Rooms / Front Office / Housekeeping in a luxury or boutique hotel environment Strong understanding of guest service excellence and operational coordination Professional; composed leadership style with strong communication skills Confident in managing multiple departments and priorities simultaneously Excellent administrative, organisational, and hospitality systems knowledge Own reliable transport and accommodation (essential) Passion for hospitality and a natural host presence Package & Benefits: Salary from R35;000 (negotiable depending on experience) Opportunity to take ownership of the guest journey in a beautifully positioned boutique hotel Strong professional environment with room for growth and influence
