Job Description

Job Overview: Our construction company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Health and Safety Officer to oversee all health and safety aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety regulations, procedures, and best practices. Responsibilities: Develop and implement safety guidelines, policies, and procedures for construction sites Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations Identify potential hazards and risks and develop strategies to mitigate them Conduct safety training for employees and subcontractors Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for prevention Maintain safety records and reports for all construction projects Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure safety protocols are followed Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to construction health and safety Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field (CHSO) has an active registered as CHSO with SACPCMP ( as a Health and Safety Construction Manager) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction health and safety Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidelines Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software
