About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Executive to join our team at Fusion Boutique Hotel in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing effective sales strategies to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue, while creating promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract suited clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement effective sales strategies to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue
- Create promotional material and marketing campaigns to attract suited clientele
- Research new markets and business opportunities to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Represent the Hotel in various exhibition events, trade shows, and networking events
- Prepare sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the Hotel
- Review the customer service quality of the Hotel to ensure customers are tended to properly and resolve customer complaints
- Create and maintain customer loyalty by providing excellent customer service and building sustainable relationships with clients
- Set annual sales budgets, report, and forecast
- Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations and meet the financial needs of the Hotel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (Grade 12 equivalent qualification is required)
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry at a 4-5 star property
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
- Ability to work independently
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing or a related field is an advantage
