About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Manager to join our team in Polokwane. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in production management and a passion for delivering high-quality products while ensuring efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff on a production floor
- Monitor and control production processes, yields, and waste
- Implement food safety standards (HACCP) and cold chain management
- Ensure quality and efficiency in daily production targets
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Production / Operations Management, Food Science, or a related field
- 3 Years experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Exposure to meat processing or food production is highly advantageous
- Basic understanding of production processes, yields, and waste control
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP) and cold chain management
