About the Role
Our client in the Office Automation space is looking for an Accounts Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key client accounts, leading a small team of account executives or sales representatives, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key client accounts to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Lead and support a small team of account executives or sales representatives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing and potential customer bases.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximise profitability.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g. finance, operations, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure all customer interactions align with company standards and brand values.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally within the automotive or related industry.
- Minimum 35 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth.
