Our client in the automotive repair and vehicle refurbishment industry is seeking a Bodyshop Assistants to join their dynamic workshop team in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements

35 years experience in panel beating and spray painting of vehicles

Contactable references essential

Must be based in Port Elizabeth

N3 Technical qualification advantageous

Trade Test in panel beating or spray painting is an added advantage

Strong work ethic and excellent attendance record

Ability to work under pressure and meet quality standards

Physically fit and willing to multi-task across preparation, flatting, and finishing stages
Responsibilities
-
Perform panel beating and vehicle body repair work to manufacturer and quality standards
-
Assist across all stages of vehicle preparation through to final finishing
-
Perform flatting, sanding, filling, and surface preparation tasks
-
Support spray-painting and final vehicle finishing processes
-
Maintain high workmanship quality and attention to detail

Adhere to safety, workshop, and quality control standards

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
-
Work collaboratively with workshop teams to meet production targets
