About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Consolidation Manager to join our team in Port Elizabeth. As a Senior Chartered Accountant, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial consolidation process for sub-consolidations within the organization. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across the company’s various entities and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sub-consolidation process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the entire organization
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal control procedures
- Continuously evaluate and improve financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA)
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on group consolidations and financial reporting
- Strong technical skills
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial consolidation methodologies, and reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP)
- Proficiency in using financial consolidation software
- Advanced Excel skills
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) registration with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA)
