Port Elizabeth: Die Issuer and Repairer posted by Headhunters

Our Client in the Packaging and Recycling Industry is seeking to employ a Die Issuer and Repairer to their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Salary: R 10 000 – R 15000 Monthly.

Requirements:

• Technical Matric certificate.
• Tool/ Die Maker trade certification (added advantage).
• Minimum 2 years experience in rotary die cutting or toolmaking.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and technical drawings.
• Computer literacy: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Able and willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Proactive, responsible and reliable.
• Able to work independently.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Inspect and maintain dies before use.
• Manage die repair materials at all times.
• Follow up on status of die orders.
• Keep updated register of all dies and their condition.
• Re-rack and inspect dies regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the die room.
• Assist in ordering new dies.
• Liaise with graphic artist on new jobs.
