Job Summary
- Performing independent reviews for companies not requiring audits
- Compiling high-quality financial statements using Caseware
- Providing accounting assistance and preparing working paper files
- Resolving queries, passing final entries, and preparing tax computations
- Processing and reconciling annual transactions from source documents
- Collaborating closely with clients, supervisors, and partners
- Ensuring targets are met through budget preparation and control
We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A B.Com in Accounting or related financial qualification
- Membership with SAIPA / SAICA (essential)
- 1–2 years post-articles experience in accounting or auditing
- Solid independent review experience
- Caseware proficiency (including CaseView) and strong Excel & Pastel skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs
- Proven ability to calculate income and deferred tax across various entity types
- Confidence to operate independently with minimal guidance
