Our client, in the private healthcare industry, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior ICT Network & Systems Technician to join our ICT team. This entry-level dual role provides exposure to both ICT end-user support and network administration, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in ICT systems, networking, and support within a healthcare environment. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and looking to grow into a specialized ICT career

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Support users in effectively using ICT tools and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and solutions.
• Network Support
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN systems.
• Help configure basic network equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Support ICT team in troubleshooting network performance
• Learn and apply best practices in ICT and network security.
• Participate in ICT-related projects as a support resource.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously build technical knowledge.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in ICT support.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routing, switching).
• Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+ / Network+.
• Exposure to Microsoft Windows environments and Office 365.
• Awareness of ICT security practices.
