Job Summary
Requirements:
- Trade Test or relevant artisan qualification.
- Qualified Red Seal Artisan.
- 5 years post-qualifying experience in a production environment/maintenance environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
- HACCP and GMP knowledge will be advantageous.
- Experienced in welding of stainless steel, mild steel and alloy steel will be advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to do minor electronic fault-finding will be advantageous.
- Must be willing and available to attend to callouts after hours.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Conducting and coordinating all maintenance on machinery and equipment in the departments.
- Completing maintenance checks and programs for each machine as per schedule.
- Building an inventory of spares for the machines and controlling spares usage and costs.
- Properly maintaining maintenance records as per requirement.
- Identification and achievement of measurable technical and process developments and improvements.
- Attending to breakdowns.
- Ordering of necessary equipment and tools for the factory when necessary.
- Fault identification, fixing of root cause analysis and ensuring the accurate completion of production logs and job cards.
- Coach, mentor and train apprentices as may be required.
