About the Role
The Product Operations & QA Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective coordination, quality assurance, and delivery of development work across the ODIN Checkpoint platform. This position acts as a link between the Product Owner, Development Team, and Operations Team to drive platform stability, reduce production defects, and improve development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Bug Triage & Issue Management:
- Investigate and reproduce bugs reported by users
- Define clear and structured reproduction steps
- Gather required technical and contextual information
- Classify issues (bug vs feature vs user error)
- Prioritize and escalate issues appropriately
- Quality Assurance & Coordination:
- Validate all development tickets before release
- Perform functional QA testing as well as coordinate QA across web and mobile applications
- Perform regression testing and ensure regression testing is completed for releases across web and mobile applications
- Release Management & Communication:
- Compile release notes for features and bug fixes
- Communicate updates via the Checkpoint platform
- Ensure accurate documentation of releases
- Product Operations & Ticket Management:
- Manage and maintain development tickets in Click-Up
- Structure and refine tickets for developer clarity
- Support backlog preparation with the Product Owner
- Track ticket progress across development lifecycle
- Cross-Team Coordination:
- Act as liaison between the Operations team and the Development team
- Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams
Requirements
- Formal Tertiary education: Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Information Systems Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software) Computer Science Business/Operations OR equivalent practical experience in a technical/software environment
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in QA / Software Testing Business Analysis Product / Project Coordination Technical Operations or similar
- Languages: Proficiency in English (additional languages are advantageous)
- Drivers Licence: Code 8- (minimum)
