The role supports Production, Planning, Localisation and Export projects by ensuring optimal material flow from source to point of use, while driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Plan, design and implement logistics material flow concepts for production and warehouse environments. • Develop layouts, drawings and technical specifications for logistics facilities and services. • Design and procure logistics equipment including packaging, pallets, stillages, racking and storage systems. • Prepare and manage detailed project plans, timelines and deliverables. • Compile RFQ documentation, evaluate quotations and negotiate with suppliers where required. • Prepare budget estimates, cost studies and project justifications. • Coordinate project execution, testing, acceptance and handover. • Develop and maintain packaging and logistics service specifications. • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers. • Chair and participate in meetings to ensure successful project delivery. Minimum Qualifications • Degree or National Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Logistics. Experience Requirements • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics processes within an automotive manufacturing environment. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics planning or project engineering role. Essential Skills and Competencies • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent planning and organisational abilities under tight deadlines. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in interpreting and producing 3D CAD drawings. • Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Added Advantage • Experience with SAP Supply Chain Management systems. • German language proficiency.
