Job

• Taking charge of full scope of Project Purchasing – placing and expediting of orders, daily liaison with suppliers, and regular feedback on project status
• Negotiating better pricing and payment terms and credit returns with suppliers
• Ensuring that Project Purchasing is in line with Cash flow Forecasting set for projects
• Managing supplier relationships
• Assisting with various other functions within the department
• Liaise with all relevant departments regarding timing of orders and expediting orders where needed
• Track orders and ensure timely deliveries
• Sourcing materials, goods, products and services where needed
• Work in a stressful environment when project timing is tight.
