Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Technical Skills: 2-3 years experience with PHP; able to develop WordPress plugins from scratch.
- Design and Prototyping: 1-2 years experience building prototypes in Figma.
Beneficial requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for creating responsive and interactive designs.
- Ability to implement SEO best practices, including schema markup and meta-data optimization.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Website Development: Build WordPress websites from scratch, ensuring functionality, performance, and responsiveness.
- Website Maintenance: Manage and maintain existing WordPress sites, troubleshooting issues and implementing updates as needed.
- Plugin Development: Design and develop custom WordPress plugins to extend functionality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and technology teams to implement site prototypes and ensure alignment with client expectations.
