Hire Resolve`s Client are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate must have completed their SAICA training and possess Caseware experience. Attorneys` trust audit experience will be a strong advantage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, manage audit engagements, and provide mentorship to junior staff.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and finalize audit assignments in accordance with auditing standards.
• Lead audit teams and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Prepare and review working papers, financial statements, and reports using Caseware.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to client needs.
• Conduct fieldwork and substantive testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with clients to provide recommendations and improvements on internal controls.
• Ensure proper documentation of audit findings and conclusions.
• Train and mentor junior auditors to enhance their technical knowledge and professional growth.
• Assist in attorneys` trust audits (advantageous but not mandatory).
• Stay updated with changes in IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, ISA, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

• Completed SAICA training contract (Articles).
• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Caseware for financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of audit methodologies, standards, and regulations.
• Experience in attorneys trust audits will be an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders.
