About the Role

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced and skilled BI Tester to join our team in Pretoria. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans and test cases for ETL processes, data integration workflows, data marts, and reporting platforms. Your expertise in Business Intelligence and Data Testing will ensure the accuracy and reliability of our BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Designed and executed test plans and test cases for ETL processes, data integration workflows, data marts, and reporting platforms
• Performed data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target BI systems
• Conducted functional integration system regression and performance testing on BI solutions and data pipelines
• Identified data quality issues logged defects and tracked resolution
• Validated correctness of business logic in BI reports dashboards and analytics solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in a BI Tester role
• Business Intelligence or Data Testing related certifications
• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Data Analyst Associate Power BI
• SQL Server Database Development or Administration
• ETL Development or Data Integration certification
• Certified Agile Tester
• Data Quality and Validation certification

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in computer science, information systems, statistics, or mathematics
