The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Sage Pastel Express and be comfortable managing multiple entities and financial functions up to Trial Balance. Minimum Requirements: Matric / Grade 12. Proven bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance Proficiency in Sage Pastel Express AJS systems experience would be an advantage but not a must Experience managing multiple entities (companies and a trust) Sound knowledge of SARS submissions, CIPC, SETA, and compliance-related reporting would be an advantage Excellent organisational and reconciliation skills Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Key Responsibilities: Perform full bookkeeping functions up to Trial Balance for multiple entities Handle invoicing, debtors, creditors, cash books, and payments Manage bookkeeping for a debt collection company, including: Monthly payments to clients from funds received in the trust account Capturing transactions on AJS Flow and AJS Hosted systems Prepare and send monthly client invoices Perform bank, loan account, petty cash, and debtors/creditors reconciliations monthly Maintain and update the fixed asset register Calculate and prepare monthly VAT submissions to SARS Handle Workmans Compensation annual submissions Support to the compiler of the SETA submission Manage CIPC Annual Returns and Beneficial Ownership declarations for all companies Ensure timely renewal of all insurance policies, including: Short-term insurance Public indemnity SHA cover Commercial crime policy Renew annual B-BBEE affidavit Prepare documentation and support for Annual DOL audit Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Employment Details Employment Type: Permanent Employment Industry: Financial Services Work space preference: Work Onsite Ideal work province: Gauteng Ideal work city: Pretoria Salary bracket: R 0 – 25000 Drivers License: CODE B (Car) Own car needed: Yes

Requirements: Relevant tertiary education. 13 years experience in bookkeeping. Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong numerical accuracy , problem-solving , and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently. Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude. Skills and attributes: Attention to detail and accuracy is essential for handling financial data correctly and avoiding errors. Organisational skills needed to manage multiple clients or tasks simultaneously and to keep financial records tidy. Must be comfortable with numbers, percentages, and basic math, and have the ability to solve problems and analyse data. Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software is crucial. The ability to explain financial information clearly to non-accountants. Patience, diligence, and goodtime management are also beneficial.
