About the Role
TWK Agri has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Accountant: Consolidation within the Finance division at Pretoria, Gauteng. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities within the Group, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the consolidation of financial statements in line with IFRS
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the Group
- Coordinate with various departments to collect and analyse financial data required for consolidation
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accurate reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial reports for senior management and key stakeholders
- Perform complex financial analysis and provide variance commentary on consolidated results
- Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor updates to accounting standards and assess impacts on consolidation processes
- Assist with the preparation of technical accounting papers and financial governance processes
- Provide support during external audits relating to consolidations
- Maintain and update consolidation models and reporting systems
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA(SA) or equivalent qualification preferred
- Minimum of 57 years experience in financial consolidations or a similar role
- Proven track record in managing complex consolidations
- Indepth understanding of IFRS and local accounting standards
