Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer, you will play a critical role in designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systems that optimize production efficiency and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects while traveling extensively to various sites to support system implementation and troubleshooting.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs for automation systems.
- Integrate PLC systems with other equipment and software.
- Perform on-site commissioning and troubleshooting of PLC systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Provide training and technical support to staff on PLC systems.
- Travel up to 60% of the time to various client locations for installation, testing, and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PLC Programmer in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or similar.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and automation processes.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60% of the time) to client sites.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience with robotic systems, SCADA, or HMI programming.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes.
