Job Summary
A leading name in the foreign exchange industry, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant who has successfully completed their SAIPA or SAICA articles. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where precision, integrity, and compliance are key.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Reconcile bank accounts and perform month-end close procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SARB, FSCA, SARS)
- Manage daily and monthly cash flow reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
Strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Pastel)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
