About the Role
A leading electrical construction company based in Silverton, Pretoria is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager with MV experience to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee electrical projects from initiation to completion.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all project activities and resources.
- Ensure compliance with MV electrical standards, SANS regulations, and client specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality checks.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and procurement.
- Lead and support site teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project progress reports and documentation.
Requirements
- Electrical qualification (National Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
- Minimum 35 years experience in Medium Voltage (MV) installations/projects.
- Proven experience in electrical project management.
- Strong understanding of MV systems, switchgear, transformers, cables, and protection systems.
- Valid drivers licence.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
