Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts Oversight and review of accountants work Month-end and year-end journals and reconciliations Compilation and management of intercompany loan schedules Monitoring and managing cash flow Ensuring accurate payroll processing Submission of statutory and SARS returns, including income tax and provisional tax Liaising with auditors and managing audit processes Implementing, monitoring, and maintaining strong internal financial controls Development and analysis of budgets and forecasts Managing and developing the finance team Supporting ad-hoc reporting and technical queries Job Experience and Skills Required: CA(SA) preferred Minimum 2 years post-articles experience Strong knowledge of IFRS and taxation Solid experience in financial reporting and compliance Proven staff management experience Advanced Excel skills; Sage exposure advantageous Experience with consolidations, AFS preparation, and group reporting High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Deadline-driven with the ability to perform under pressure High levels of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct Apply now!

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the full financial function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, audit requirements, and company policies. Manage and mentor the finance team, including creditors, debtors, and payroll functions. Conduct cost analysis and support operational decision-making. Implement internal controls and improve financial processes and systems. Liaise with auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders. Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management. Desired Experience & Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (essential). Professional qualification such as CIMA, SAIPA, or SAICA (advantageous). Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a financial management role, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro, Pastel). Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
