Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Managing bookkeeping functions, including VAT calculations and submissions.Processing payroll using Pastel Payroll Handling financial statements and reporting (for Accountant-level candidates).Working with Sage pastel & Sage one for accounting processes.Assisting with CIPC-related tasks (knowledge of this is strongly recommended).
Requirements:
Strong understanding of bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and financial statements (Accountant).Experience using Sage one accounting, Sage pastel and, preferably, Xero.Payroll experience on Pastel Payroll and/or SimplePay.Familiarity with CIPC procedures is an advantage.Ability to work independently, as teamwork and ensure accuracy in financial records.Desired Skills:Sage one Accounting & Sage pastelXeroSage payrollFull bookkeepingVATCIPCExcel
