Job Summary
My client is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Financial Accountant with strong technical knowledge and a proactive mindset. You’ll play a key role in supporting the financial operations of their growing business, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and insightful reporting.
As a Financial Accountant you will:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain accurate records and reconciliations of general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed SAICA/SAIPA Articles
1–2 years of post-article experience in a finance/accounting role
BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, and financial reporting standards
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or SAP)
Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail and integrity
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
