About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Helper to join our team at Woodafair Academics in Pretoria. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared and served quickly, while maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unloading and stocking vendor supplies
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, such as smaller kitchen appliances, utensils, and cutting boards
  • Washing, cutting, weighing, mixing, and pre-portioning ingredients
  • Restocking ingredients or supplies to maintain par levels
  • Assisting in the dish area with cleaning, drying, and organizing dishes
  • Refilling condiment containers and utensil bins, polishing glassware, and folding napkins
  • Packing to-go orders and leftovers
  • Emptying garbage containers throughout the shift

Requirements

  • Excellent multitasking ability to assist several other kitchen staff positions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
