Job Description

Role Overview KUGA is seeking a highly organised, strategic, and detail-driven Marketing Coordinator to oversee and coordinate all brand, digital, and campaign activities. KUGA is a retail brand that excels in the outdoor ranges of vacuum-insulated flasks as well as hard shell coolers built for the South African terrain. This role is central to ensuring that KUGAs brand vision, campaign strategy, website performance, and marketing execution are aligned and professionally managed across agencies, SEO partners, and internal teams. The successful candidate must have strong project management skills, digital marketing understanding, and the ability to translate brand vision into clear, executable marketing direction. Key Duties & Responsibilities 1. Website Oversight & Digital Management Ensure the KUGA website is professionally maintained and up to date. Oversee product uploads, pricing accuracy, and content updates. Ensure product descriptions are optimised and brand-aligned. Monitor website performance, user experience, and conversion flow. Coordinate improvements in UX/UI where necessary. Ensure tracking tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.) are functioning correctly. Monitor stock display accuracy and product availability online. Coordinate website development updates with developers. 2. Agency Coordination & Campaign Management Act as the primary liaison between KUGA and external marketing agencies. Ensure agencies deliver creative assets aligned with brand identity. Coordinate timelines for launches, promotions, and campaigns. Review and approve marketing materials before release. Monitor campaign performance and provide feedback for optimisation. Ensure paid advertising campaigns align with overall brand strategy. 3. SEO & Performance Marketing Coordination Coordinate KUGA brand objectives with the SEO company. Ensure SEO strategy aligns with product launches and campaigns. Review keyword strategies and content optimisation plans. Monitor SEO performance reports and rankings. Ensure blog content and website content are SEO-optimised. Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic and search visibility. Align SEO initiatives with broader marketing goals. 4. Brand Management Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print platforms. Oversee brand tone, messaging, and visual identity. Ensure campaigns reflect KUGAs premium outdoor positioning. Coordinate new product launches with marketing rollout plans. Maintain brand guidelines and ensure compliance. 5. Marketing Planning & Execution Develop and maintain marketing calendars. Coordinate promotional campaigns (seasonal, retail, corporate). Assist with product launch planning and execution. Support retail and B2B marketing initiatives. Coordinate social media content planning. Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. 6. Reporting & Analytics Compile monthly marketing performance reports. Monitor paid advertising ROI. Track website traffic, conversions, and engagement. Analyse campaign performance and recommend improvements. Present performance insights to management. 7. Internal Coordination Work closely with sales teams to align marketing with revenue goals. Support corporate gifting and B2B marketing initiatives. Coordinate marketing materials for expos and events. Ensure internal communication regarding campaigns and launches. Performance Expectations The successful candidate will: Improve website performance and conversion rates. Ensure campaigns launch on time and meet objectives. Maintain strong coordination between KUGA and agencies. Improve SEO rankings and organic traffic. Maintain consistent brand presentation across all platforms. Minimum Requirements Proven experience in marketing coordination or brand management. Strong digital marketing knowledge (SEO, paid ads, website management). Experience working with agencies and external suppliers. Strong organisational and project management skills. Analytical mindset with reporting experience. Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
