About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Master Installation Electrician with a strong background in industrial/chemical and gas/explosive atmospheres to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with Ex installations and compliance auditing, as well as issuing CoCs for hazardous areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Ex equipment
- Conduct hazardous area fault-finding and instrumentation interface
- Read and update hazardous area classification drawings
- Ensure compliance with SANS 10142-1 (Wiring Code general) and SANS 10142-2 / 60079 series (Hazardous locations)
- Operate in harsh environments
Requirements
- Red Seal Electrician Master Installation Electrician (MIE) certification
- Master Wireman License
- Experience with Ex installations and compliance auditing
- Demonstrated experience in industrial/chemical and gas/explosive atmospheres
- Ability to work in hazardous areas
