About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong sales professional to join our growing team as a Plumbing Sales Consultant. With experience in plumbing, construction, or building materials, you will play a key role in driving sales across both trade and retail channels while supporting clients with technical product advice, quotations, and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, plumbers, and walk-in clients
- Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
- Provide expert product advice across plumbing materials and sanitaryware
- Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry to delivery
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations
- Compile and submit tenders and project-based pricing proposals
- Interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Maintain accurate sales records, pricing structures, and client databases
- Track orders, deliveries, and project timelines
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams on stock availability
- Assist in resolving client queries and after-sales support
Requirements
- Proven experience in plumbing / building materials / construction sales
- Strong knowledge of plumbing products (pipes, fittings, sanitaryware, etc.)
- Experience working with contractors, developers, or project environments
- Solid experience in compiling tenders and large quotations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (non-negotiable)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings / BOQs
