About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PCB Layout Designer to join our team in Pretoria-East. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and laying out multi-layer PCBs, managing component libraries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Layout and routing of multi-layer PCBs
- Management of the PCB component library
- Create and verify schematic symbols for PCB footprints
- Prepare documentation for PCB manufacturing and assembly
Requirements
- BTech (Electronic Engineering) degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience with Mentor Graphics, Pads Professional, or similar packages
- Knowledge of PCB assembly process and IPC standards
- Experience with high-speed digital components
- Strong understanding of schematic design principles
Qualifications
- Formal education in Electronic Engineering (BTech or higher)
