Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven inhouse Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our footprint in the HR consulting space. We deliver integrated HR software and comprehensive solutions backed by expert support to help organisations manage their workforce and stay compliant with constantly evolving employment laws and regulations. . If you have knowledge of Employment Equity and Skills Development with a strong sales background, you may be who we are looking to join our team Minimum Requirements 5 years proven sales experience, preferably in B2B or professional services sectors. A background or strong interest in Human Resources, ER, IR, or labour consulting will be advantageous. NQF Level 6 or higher qualification (preferably in Business, HR, or related fields). Must have a valid drivers license and own reliable transport. Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems. Key Responsibilities Identify and qualify new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research Conduct sales presentations, meetings, and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Understand client needs and recommend appropriate HR, ER, IR, and compliance services. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and follow through on all sales leads. Draft and present tailored proposals and quotations in alignment with service offerings. Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales effectively. Ensure client satisfaction and retention through regular follow-ups and relationship management. Collaborate with HR consultants to stay informed on service offerings and industry developments. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on labour legislation and HR compliance trends. Prepare and submit weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts to management. Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns. Represent HR Consult at trade shows, expos, and industry networking events. Key Competencies Business Development Acumen: Proven ability to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and close deals. Consultative Selling Skills: Able to assess client needs and offer solutions that address specific HR/IR/ER challenges. Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication; able to convey complex services clearly. Professionalism: Well-groomed, confident, and able to represent a high-calibre consultancy with credibility. Resilience & Drive: Tenacious and goal-oriented with the ability to handle rejection and keep momentum. Client-Centric Mindset: Ability to build trust and long-term relationships through empathy and responsiveness. Time Management & Organisation : Efficient in prioritising tasks, managing multiple clients, and meeting deadlines. Tech Savvy : Comfortable with CRM systems, MS Office Suite, online platforms, and virtual meeting tools. Team Collaboration : Works well with internal consultants and admin support to ensure smooth client delivery. Adaptability : Can work in a fast-paced, changing environment and adjust strategies as needed.
