About the Role
Our client is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join their team. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within the North West region, particularly in the mining sector and related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new clients, particularly within the mining industry.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients within the mining industry.
- Expand the client base into non-mining sectors.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
- Conduct regular client visits and follow-ups.
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Provide weekly feedback and reports to management.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic decisions.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Minimum 35 years sales experience (preferably within mining or related industries)
- Proven track record in new business development
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email)
- Self-motivated and target-driven
